About the Role

Reporting directly to the Directors, you'll lead a team of approximately 15 Behaviour Support Practitioners, providing day-to-day leadership while maintaining a reduced clinical caseload.

This is much more than a traditional Team Leader position. You'll play a key role in strengthening Renew's leadership structure, developing practitioners and fostering a culture where people feel supported to do their best work. As the organisation continues to grow, you'll have the opportunity to influence how leadership is delivered and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.




While Renew is headquartered in Toowoomba, applications are welcomed from experienced Behaviour Support leaders across Queensland, with flexible remote working arrangements available for the right candidate.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners.
• Providing guidance on complex cases, clinical decision-making and professional development.
• Supporting quality assurance, documentation and compliance with NDIS Practice Standards.
• Managing team performance, billables and practitioner workloads.
• Collaborating with the Directors to strengthen leadership capability and continuously improve service delivery.
• Driving a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Who We're Looking For

You'll bring a strong background in Behaviour Support together with a genuine passion for developing people.

We're looking for someone who has:

• A minimum of three years' experience in Behaviour Support within the NDIS sector.
• Previous leadership, mentoring or supervision experience, or the capability to step into a Team Leader role.
• A sound understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and human rights-based practice.
• Exceptional communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
• A collaborative leadership style focused on empowering others.
• Qualifications in Psychology, Behaviour Support or a related Allied Health discipline.
