What you can expect

You will be part of Zoom’s Integration Engineering team responsible for designing and building strategic integration features.

About the Team

IT Engineering to lead an integration shared service team. The team manages 250+ system-to-system integrations. As a Software Development Engineer, you will work with a team of 9 software engineers in a multi-faceted domain. You will provide exceptional leadership and support of all integrations internal & external. The integrations are built leveraging Rest APIs, Mulesoft, pub-sub, and file exchange using S3 or SFTP.
This engineering position would play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, building and supporting the full-stack cloud-native solution.

What we’re looking for

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, with 7 - 10y of overall experience.

• Have experience in delivering end-to-end services or products from requirement gathering, design and production deployment .

• Have experience with application monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK/Kibana, Datadog, and Prometheus, along with practices to ensure performance and system observability.

• Have knowledge of cloud-native system design with exposure to reliability patterns like failovers, circuit breakers, auto-scaling, etc.

• Have the ability to apply code optimization techniques to improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of services.

• Open to leveraging AI tools to improve development speed, code quality, and team productivity. Such as Copilot or Git hub co-pilot.

Responsibilities

• Strong development background in Java, including experience with JVM internals, multithreading, concurrency, I/O, and network programming. Experience with Kafka, RESTful APIs, and Microservices is required.

• Having software development experience with building Microservices, implementing message queues and process services via enterprise middleware such as Mulesoft.

• Having solid understanding of DevOps practices, with hands-on experience using tools like Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD workflows.

• Having experience mentoring junior engineers, conducting effective code reviews, and supporting career growth through structured feedback and guidance.
