Multiple Electrical Trade Assistants

JV Recruitment is currently seeking Multiple experienced Electrical Trade Assistants for positions across a various of projects including high-profile Commercial Fit-outs, Industrial refurbs and Data Centre build projects, with Locations of these in Dandenong, Truganina, and the Melbourne CBD to name a few. With immediate starts available and work running right up until Christmas, this is a prime opportunity to lock in consistent hours, strong penalty rates, and valuable project experience before the holiday shutdown.

Whether you are pulling cable on a fast-paced commercial fit-out, Industrial warehouse or assisting with critical infrastructure on a data centre site, you will be working alongside top-tier tradespeople in a supportive, safety-first environment.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Assisting qualified electricians with commercial fit-out and data centre installations
• Cable pulling, containment, tray work, and rough-in duties
• Mounting light fittings, switches, and basic electrical equipment
• Assisting with data cabling and server rack installations
• Safe use of power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade
• Maintaining a clean, safe site and actively participating in Toolbox Talks

WHAT YOU'LL GET

• $40 - $45 per hour + Super + Coinvest
• $22.41 Daily Travel Allowance
• Additional Meal Allowance (paid on shifts over 9.5 hours)
• Time and a half & double-time penalty rates for overtime
• Weekly pay — strictly on time, every time
• Immediate starts available with full work through until Christmas

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Current White Card
• Minimum 12 months hands-on experience as an Electrical Trade Assistant or similar position
• Basic hand tools and basic cordless tools (tested and tagged)
• Full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis, steel cap boots)
• Own transport highly desirable as most Projects are difficult to reach on PT
• EWP (Elevated Work Platform) ticket or Working at Heights ticket highly regarded
