Project Manager - (FIFO)

An opportunity has opened to join one of Western Australia’s longest serving civil contractors as the company continues its operational growth into a new market. Following the successful award of contracts delivering TSF, access roads, and haul roads for a major mining client, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in the next stage of the business’s expansion.

Working closely with the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships while helping develop and grow the company’s civil mining division through securing new opportunities, driving sustained growth, and contributing to the next chapter of its already impressive history.

The Role: 
This role would initially see you based in their office located in Perth's Northern Suburbs, where you would support the team in planning for the delivery of the project, before the project is due to commence in July/August, when you would transition over to project delivery operating on an even time roster (TBC), managing stakeholder relationships, overseeing project delivery teams, and have the autonomy to leverage off your skills and knowledge to see the project to completion. 
  
Skills & Experience Required: 

• Proven experience managing bulk earthworks projects for mining clients.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, while leveraging existing networks with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
• Highly developed planning and project methodology capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Driven to contribute to the operational growth of the business and play a key role in the ongoing development of the civil mining division.
