This is your chance to move from improving care one patient at a time to improving it for an entire population. As Executive Medical Director for one of Virginia’s largest multi-specialty groups, you will set the value-based care strategy across every payer, lead the ACO as its Medical Director, and work directly with clinical, operational and payer leaders.
The Opportunity:
• System-wide influence: Own value-based performance across all payer programs, including MSSP and commercial contracts
• Lead the ACO: Serve as Medical Director of the ACO and help steer its management and direction
• Build the playbook: Design the population health dashboards, scorecards and reporting tools the system runs on
Drive real change: Standardize clinical workflows and protocols that raise quality and efficiency across the group
• Be the physician voice with payers: Represent the system in payer meetings, Close the Gap initiatives and rapid-cycle improvement work
• Mentor and lead peers: Run performance reviews with providers and partner closely with physicians, APPs, service line leaders and quality leadership
• Competitive pay: Hiring range of $250K to $330K based on specialty, experience and performance
