We are seeking an experienced Locum Hospital Pharmacist to support a regional hospital service in Burnie, Tasmania. This is a short-term three- month assignment with immediate start options, working as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team.
The Role
- Provide clinical pharmacy services across inpatient wards
- Medication reconciliation, reviews, and discharge planning
- Work closely with medical, nursing and allied health teams
- Support safe and compliant medicines management practices
- Registered Pharmacist (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting
- Strong working knowledge of inpatient medication management
- Confident with medication reconciliation and clinical review
- Ability to work independently in a regional/locum environment
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in regional or rural hospital settings
- Familiarity with electronic medication management systems
- Previous locum experience
- Competitive locum rates
