Job Overview:
The Site Supply Chain Lead is an individual contributor role accountable for end-to-end supply chain planning across demand, supply, and production execution. This role owns production scheduling, capacity planning, and NPI readiness to ensure alignment with customer demand, operational constraints, and business objectives. This position serves as a central integrator across Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Procurement, driving data-based decisions, improving planning processes, and ensuring optimal service, cost, and inventory performance across multi-line manufacturing operations.

Job Overview:
The Site Supply Chain Lead is an individual contributor role accountable for end-to-end supply chain planning across demand, supply, and production execution. This role owns production scheduling, capacity planning, and NPI readiness to ensure alignment with customer demand, operational constraints, and business objectives. This position serves as a central integrator across Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Procurement, driving data-based decisions, improving planning processes, and ensuring optimal service, cost, and inventory performance across multi-line manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the master production schedule (MPS) aligned to demand plans and capacity constraints
- Ensure finite scheduling and sequence optimization to maximize throughput and minimize changeover and delays. Influence cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities, resolve constraints, and drive execution against the plan.
- Manage production work orders and maintain ERP/MRP accuracy for inventory, BOMs, planning parameters, and product lifecycle updates.
- Review new customer orders to confirm capacity (labor, machines), materials, and design availability to meet customer dates. Monitor and manage past due orders, backlog, and service risk.
- Lead and execute the monthly Supply Agreement process, including demand/supply balancing, scenario modeling, and risk identification
- Develop and evaluate supply-demand scenarios resulting in actionable supply plans clearly articulating trade-offs across service, cost, and inventory to support decision-making.
- Lead capacity planning for labor, machines, and materials across product lines; provide future capacity reports highlighting risks.
- Collaborate with Purchasing to align raw material supply plans with inventory strategies and policies (e.g., safety stock, segmentation, reorder parameters) aligned to business objectives.
- Support NPIs by integrating launch timelines into production planning and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field of study; comparable combination of education and years of experience will be considered
- 7+ years of work experience in Supply Chain or Production Planning/ Scheduling
- 3+ years of experience with ERP/MRP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- 1+ years of experience and extensive knowledge of the flow of data through entire manufacturing process – from design conception to shipment of product
- Must be able to work on government contracts directly or access shared data resources (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.)
Preferences:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Experience in a regulated, lot-controlled manufacturing environment or clean room environment preferred
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work in cross-functional teams in a lead capacity or as a participant
- Experience or training with Lean and Visual Factory manufacturing tools
- Demonstrated strong, analytical skills, problem solving and learning ability
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team membership
- Ability to work within defined process and identify process improvements, drive improvements and sustain improvements; Ability to get results through process
- Demonstrated comprehension and experience with various business models and their effect on supply chain structure, planning and execution
