Policy Officers, Capability Analysts, Strategic Communications Officers - EOI

Chandler Macleod is seeking expressions of interest on behalf of our client for multiple opportunities supporting a nationally significant government program delivering complex policy, capability and strategic engagement outcomes.

About the Role: Working within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will support the delivery of strategic outcomes across policy development, capability analysis and stakeholder engagement functions.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Contributing to policy development, strategic analysis and capability initiatives.
• Preparing high-quality briefs, submissions, reports and executive correspondence.
• Supporting the delivery of advice to senior leaders and key decision-makers.
• Assisting with policy implementation and program delivery activities.
• Conducting research and analysis to support evidence-based decision making.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting communications and engagement activities across a broad stakeholder network.
• Coordinating meetings, events, consultations and engagement activities.
• Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared outcomes.

About You To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Experience in policy, strategy, communications, research, analysis or program delivery.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes within deadlines.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving results.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Essential Requirements

• Australian Citizenship.
