Our client is a life science manufacturing company undergoing active digital transformation. They are seeking an MES Engineer to support commercial production operations and drive the continued buildout of their Manufacturing Execution System capabilities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Support commercial production with ongoing MES modeling support
- Create, test, implement, and release MES models for both commercial and new products
- Support engineering work orders as they flow through the MES system
- Support system enhancement activities from an MES modeling standpoint
- Contribute to broader digital transformation initiatives as they develop beyond MES
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
- 2–4 years of relevant experience required
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with analytical and problem-solving ability
- Team player with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize work effectively across competing demands (production > new product rollout > enhancements)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
- Proficiency with engineering software and computer applications, including CAD (Computer Aided Design)
- Prior experience with a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is a plus
