About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in Tech/Software, is looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Developer to join their team for a 1-year engagement. This project involves designing, coding, testing, and supporting robust software programs and cloud architectures, with a focus on utilizing AWS services and leveraging cutting-edge Gen AI and Agentic AI technologies. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and Developing Programs: Design, code, test, debug, and document programs based on technical configurations, ensuring that resulting systems will operate efficiently and reliably.
• System Integration and Support: Ensure program designs integrate with other related systems. Support, update, and maintain existing systems in response to business needs and system problems.
• Project Collaboration: Coordinate with project teams and analysts to design, code, test, and document system changes, as well as to define application requirements.
• Technical Expertise: Identify business needs, assess available technologies, and develop and present solutions. You may also be tasked with designing system architectures.
• Customer Partnership: Provide a high level of customer service, partnering with end-users in the resolution of problems or in the deployment of new applications.

Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Deep expertise in AWS cloud development, Java/Spring development, and experience with Gen AI and Agentic AI. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
• Experience with relational databases, Structured Query Language (SQL), and both procedural and object-oriented design.
• Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and partner with end-users.
