A well-established and growing plastic injection moulding specialist with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and customer service is seeking an experienced Plastic Injection Moulding Setter to join their skilled production team.

Operating from a modern manufacturing facility in the West Midlands, they support a diverse customer base with injection moulding, assembly and project-led manufacturing solutions, investing in the latest technology to deliver high-quality products and exceptional reliability.

Up to £40,000, Monday- Thursday - Every Friday off

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining smooth production, carrying out machine set-ups and tool changes, troubleshooting processing issues and ensuring products meet the required quality standards and delivery schedules.

As an Injection Moulding Setter, your duties will include:

  • Carrying out mould and tool changes efficiently and safely.
  • Setting injection moulding machines and starting up associated robots.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting moulding and processing issues.
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure components meet required specifications.
  • Supporting the smooth running of production and minimising downtime.

To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter, you will need:

  • Previous experience working as an Injection Moulding Setter within a manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to carry out tool changes independently.
  • Experience setting and starting injection moulding machines.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve processing issues.
  • A proactive approach to maintaining quality and production efficiency.
