About the Role
- Plan, teach, and assess Health and Physical Education across Years 7–12
- Deliver practical PE sessions and theoretical Health units aligned with the Victorian Curriculum (and VCE PE / Health & Human Development where applicable)
- Promote positive mental health, nutrition, respectful relationships, and safe choices
- Coach and support school sport, interschool competitions, carnivals, and outdoor education programs
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and high-energy learning environment
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Contribute to the broader co-curricular and pastoral life of the school
- Current VIT registration (essential)
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification with a Health & PE method
- Strong knowledge of sport, fitness, anatomy, and adolescent health
- Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
- Excellent classroom and field/court management skills
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- A team player with a positive, energetic, and professional approach
