Cash Management Operations Specialist
Position Summary The Cash Management Operations Specialist will support a team responsible for the movement of cash and assets across various financial products. This role will perform operational processing within Cash Management, including journals, receipts, and disbursements for retirement and non-retirement products.
In addition to transactional processing, the specialist may interact with internal and external clients to research issues, resolve exceptions, and ensure requests are completed accurately and within established service levels.

In addition to transactional processing, the specialist may interact with internal and external clients to research issues, resolve exceptions, and ensure requests are completed accurately and within established service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Process receipt transactions that are Not in Good Order (NIGO) and research missing or incomplete information.
- Process journal requests and monitor disbursement work queues.
- Complete various disbursement transactions for retirement and non-retirement products.
- Support divorce and death claim processing.
- Assist with tax-related operational processing.
- Review reports used to reconcile general ledger activity and end-of-day balances for wires and checks.
- Review rejection reports and make necessary updates to ACH transactions.
- Process and reconcile receipt transactions.
- Research transaction discrepancies and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy while working within established operational controls and procedures.
- Stay current on new processes, procedures, and internal controls.
- Participate in daily team huddles, department meetings, and ongoing training.
- Communicate with internal teams and external clients as needed to support transaction processing and issue resolution.
- 1–2 years of experience within the brokerage or financial services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and escalate when appropriate.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing processes, priorities, and business needs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks accurately and within established deadlines.
- FINRA Series 7 and/or Series 66.
- Experience with brokerage operations, cash management, money movement, or financial transaction processing.
- Experience with retirement and non-retirement account processing.
- Familiarity with ACH, wires, checks, journals, receipts, and disbursements.
- Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
