We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join a busy and purpose-driven organisation in Sydney's inner South on an ongoing temporary basis, working 3 days per week.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is confident managing the full finance function across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll. You'll work as part of a small team, taking ownership of day-to-day transactional finance activities while supporting month-end processes and reporting.

About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
  • End-to-end Accounts Payable processing, supplier payments and reconciliations
  • Accounts Receivable invoicing, debtor management and collections
  • Fortnightly payroll processing, employee record maintenance and payroll compliance
  • Daily bank reconciliations and cashflow support
  • General ledger reconciliations and journal entries
  • Assisting with BAS preparation and month-end reporting
  • Supporting audit, budgeting and finance projects as required 
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience across AP, AR and payroll
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, STP and superannuation obligations
  • Experience using accounting and payroll systems
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to support a small finance team
  • Availability to work 3 days per week on an ongoing temporary basis
