We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to take a lead on a university fitout project in Melbourne. This is a need due to additional project wins.

This is a 3-month contract commencing in the near future and would suit a Site Manager with strong commercial fitout experience who is confident managing trades, subcontractors and day-to-day site operations.

The Role
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of a university fitout
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades and suppliers
  • Manage site safety, quality and programme
  • Coordinate site activities and site meetings
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and wider team
  • Ensure works are delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
About You
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager
  • Strong commercial fitout experience
  • University, education or institutional fitout experience highly regarded
  • Confident managing subcontractors and trades
  • Strong understanding of construction, safety and quality requirements
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of the site
