We provide comprehensive Mining, Engineering and Cadastral Land Surveying and Town Planning services across Queensland. We’re big on culture, good people and creating a workplace where you actually enjoy turning up to work.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for Construction Surveyors currently based in New Zealand who are interested in relocating to Queensland and joining the Vision Surveys team.
Opportunities are available across: Brisbane, Gold Coast, Rockhampton, Gladstone and Airlie Beach. Roster options include Monday to Friday or 2 weeks on 1 week off roster.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys, site measurements and data collection
- Prepare survey plans, reports and spatial data outputs
- Operate surveying instruments including GPS, total stations and digital levels
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and safety requirements
- Liaise with clients, engineers, site managers and internal teams
- Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records
- Report to and communicate with the Survey Manager
What We’re Looking For
- Leica or Trimble surveying equipment
- Experience with surveying software such as 12d, Magnet or AutoCAD is advantageous
- Degree or Diploma in Surveying or a related discipline
- Previous experience working as a Surveyor or in a similar surveying role
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Current open driver’s licence
