About the client:

Our client is currently seeking experienced and motivated Recreational Officers for multiple positions. 
  
These roles, are based in Alexandria and Zetland area, working over a 7-day roster, including regular weekends and evening shifts. 

These positions are available for an asap start! 
  
About the role:

You will be responsible for: 

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational programs to support social inclusion, connection and wellbeing
• Maintaining excellent customer service relationships with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure we respond to customers and community’s needs and expectations
• Undertaking a range of day-to-day and administrative duties to ensure the safe and effective operations of recreation facilities and programs

It is expected that interested individuals possess the following skills & experience:

• Demonstrated experience with planning and delivery of recreational programs and
  events such as sporting competitions and health and wellbeing activities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively with internal teams and user groups. 
• Proficiency with point-of-sale and booking or scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office applications, or the ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to engage respectfully with diverse stakeholders, providing clear guidance and escalating issues appropriately
• Be available to work across multiple locations within the Local Government area over a 7-day roster, including regular weekends and evening shifts

To be successful for the role, you will need to:

• Hold a current police check or willing to obtain
• Provide 2x references
• WWCC or willing to obtain 
• First aid & CPR  or Willingness to obtain
