Bid Writer - Care

Bid Writer – Care Consultancy New Way Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading care consultancies. Our client is looking for an experienced and highly organised Bid Writer to help develop high-quality bids and tenders across the care sector. You’ll work closely with operational, quality, finance and commercial colleagues to produce clear, persuasive and evidence-based submissions. This is an opportunity to play an important part in the consultancy’s growth and in the work it does with care providers. The Role Your responsibilities will include: Leading the writing and development of bids and tender submissions. Reviewing ITTs, PQQs, SQs, frameworks and other procurement documents. Coordinating input from operational, quality, HR, finance and senior leadership teams. Turning complex information into clear, compelling responses that meet tender requirements. Creating bid plans, response structures and submission timelines. Ensuring submissions meet all requirements, word counts and deadlines. Researching commissioners, procurement requirements and developments in the care sector. Maintaining a library of case studies, policies, evidence and standard responses. Working with subject matter experts to make sure bids accurately reflect the consultancy’s expertise. Helping improve bid processes and materials. About You You’ll have experience in bid writing, tender management or proposal development, ideally within healthcare, social care, domiciliary care, supported living, children’s services or another regulated care environment. You’ll also bring: Excellent writing and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Confidence interpreting complex tender requirements. The ability to write persuasive, accurate and evidence-based responses. Strong organisation and project management skills. The ability to work effectively with senior leaders and operational teams. An understanding of quality, compliance and safeguarding in the care sector. Experience writing bids for local authorities, NHS organisations or other public-sector commissioners would be particularly welcome, as would knowledge of procurement frameworks and CQC requirements.
