Trade Assistant

JV Recruitment are currently seeking skilled Trade Assistants to join a number of busy modular projects throughout Melbourne's Western and Northern suburbs. These are ongoing roles offering steady hours, great conditions and the opportunity for long-term work with a well-established operation.
You’ll be working in a clean, well-organised factory environment, assisting with the production and assembly of modular building components.

What you’ll be doing:

• Skilled Trade Assistant within a modular factory environment
• Assisting trades with assembly and fit-out works
• Using hand and power tools
• Working to plans and instructions
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work area

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a skilled labourer or trade assistant
• Carpentry, cabinetmaking or joinery experience highly desirable
• Confident use of hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment

What’s on offer:

• $36-38 per hour, depending on experience
• Ongoing work with consistent hours
• Immediate start available
