Carpenter

JV Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Fix-Out Carpenters and motivated Carpenters looking to take the next step into a Leading Hand position to join a range of commercial construction projects across Brisbane's inner-city and surrounding suburbs, including Ashgrove, Chermside, Greenbank, Morningside, Wacol, and surrounding areas.

We have immediate starts available on high-profile commercial projects, with long-term opportunities for the right candidates. Whether you're an experienced carpenter specialising in commercial fit-outs or you're looking to progress your career into site leadership, we'd love to hear from you

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Certificate III in Carpentry (essential)
• Proven experience in commercial fix-out/fit-out carpentry
• Experience installing doors, frames, skirting, architraves, hardware, and other internal finishes
• Competent using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of site safety procedures
• Previous Leading Hand experience is highly regarded, but not essential for carpenters looking to step into a leadership role

WHAT YOU'LL GET

• $50 - $60 per hour + Super
• Daily travel allowance of $22.41
• Meal allowance after 9.5 hours worked
• Overtime paid at time and a half and double-time rates
• Weekly pay
• Long-term work with some of Brisbane's leading commercial builders
• Genuine opportunities to progress into Leading Hand and Site Supervisor positions

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• White Card
• Full Australian working rights
• Certificate III in Carpentry
• Own tools, tested and tagged
• Reliable transport and PPE
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Positive attitude and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship
