Job Title: VMI Key Account Coordinator – Life Sciences
Location: Shannon, Co. Clare (covering customer sites across the West & East of Ireland)
Salary: Competitive base + Company Van included
Summary:
Gi Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading life sciences company in Shannon that provides lab-based products to customers across Ireland. This is a permanent Key Account Coordinator position supporting Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) customer accounts on a set weekly schedule, with flexibility to manage your diary based on customer needs. A company van is provided for both work and personal use.
Responsibilities:

  • Complete scheduled deliveries to customer sites
  • Restock products into agreed bin locations within storage areas and, where required, deliver directly to labs (including refrigerated items)
  • Manage and report on products with expiry dates (rotation/monitoring as required)
  • Carry out weekly stock counts on selected areas and full stock counts monthly
  • Maintain strong knowledge of key parts and stock requirements across assigned accounts
  • Participate in project teams as identified by the Senior Leadership Team
  • Work with the Key Account Manager to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives for each customer
  • Support any additional duties as assigned by the Key Account Manager or Commercial Director

Requirements:

  • Experience in a distribution/stock environment with a solid understanding of stock management and common challenges
  • Microsoft Excel to intermediate level
  • Full driving licence (essential)
  • HazChem licence (beneficial, not essential)
  • Approachable, level-headed, strong attention to detail, and able to work on own initiative
