Multimedia Assistant

MAYDAY is proud to be partnering with Australia’s largest funeral service provider to recruit a Multimedia Assistant, based out of Morningside.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and organised individual with early experience to join a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment, supporting the production of high-quality visual and digital content.

About the role
In this hands-on position, you will support the creation and delivery of multimedia content across a range of formats including video, audio, presentations, graphic design, and print-ready materials. You will play a key role in ensuring all content is accurate, on brand, and delivered to a high standard within required timeframes. You will deliver high-level support to Funeral Conductors/ Arrangers across Queensland by coordinating and delivering essential service materials, ensuring everything is prepared accurately and on time for each funeral service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and editing multimedia content including video, presentations, and digital assets
• Preparing and formatting files for both digital and print output
• Supporting the delivery of customised content for internal stakeholders and families
• Collaborating with teams to gather and organise content for production
• Applying brand standards, templates, and production guidelines
• Conducting quality checks to ensure all work is polished and client-ready
• Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment

About you

• Experience or Degree/ Qualification in multimedia, graphic design, digital production, or video editing
• Experience within a customer service environment including retail or hospitality
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and digital production tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Confident preparing digital and print-ready assets
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Positive, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow
