Our client is one of the main global players in the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry with Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels operating worldwide. A team of international professionals runs the fleet from its Head Quarters in Leer, Germany, ranging from Ship Management, Commercial, Financial and HR Departments. Job Description We are seeking skilled and experienced Electro-Technical Officers (ETOs) with Dynamic Positioning Maintenance (DPM) certification to join our team on a contractor basis. This position is crucial for our operations in the oil and gas industry and is based in Sabah or for those holding a valid Sabah work permit. As an Electro-Technical Officer, you will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance and repair of all electric and electronic equipment onboard. This includes but is not limited to executing all duties assigned to you by your superiors and reporting all abnormalities. As Electro-Technical Officer, you will promote good communication and cooperation with crew, maintain a high safety standard while working in the engine room, and lead by example. Qualifications:

• Electro-Technical Officer Certificate of Competency.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electro-Technical Officer on board Offshore DP2 Vessels.
• DP Maintainer Certificate.
• All sea-related certificates up to date.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong leadership in safety practices, including stop-the-job authority.
• Proficiency in maintaining Marine Computer Networks and Marine communication systems (VSAT, FBB, CERTUS, IRIDIUM, INMARSAT).
• Knowledge of Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) & Power Management Systems.
• Experience with maintenance of deck cranes (store cranes, Anchor Handling cranes, and winches).
• Familiarity with PTW, RA, JSA, and Toolbox talk systems.
• A proactive approach to fault finding without sole reliance on shore-side assistance.
• Ability to oversee and manage stocks of electrical and critical components.
• Thorough understanding of hydraulic systems and Schneider PLCs.
