Job Description:          
Seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to perform electrical installation, wiring, troubleshooting, service, and commissioning of specialty equipment, including sauna, steam, salt room, lighting, ventilation, and control systems.
This position requires precision, adherence to NEC standards, and the ability to interpret detailed wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and project plans. The technician will work closely with Project Management, Operations, and Service teams on installations in luxury residences, high-rise condominiums, hotels, and commercial wellness facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Wiring
  • Install, wire, and commission sauna heaters, including Harvia, Finnleo, EOS, and similar systems. 
  • Install and service steam generators, including MrSteam, Thermasol, Amerec, and similar equipment. 
  • Install salt room equipment and control systems. 
  • Install and wire low-voltage and line-voltage control panels. 
  • Install LED and fiber-optic lighting systems. 
  • Install and connect ventilation and fan systems. 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and shop drawings. 
  • Complete electrical terminations professionally and in accordance with NEC and manufacturer specifications. 
  • Perform equipment startup, testing, and commissioning. 
Troubleshooting & Service
  • Diagnose electrical issues involving sauna, steam, salt room, and specialty equipment. 
  • Troubleshoot 120/240V line-voltage and low-voltage control systems. 
  • Perform on-site repairs while minimizing equipment downtime. 
  • Conduct preventative maintenance for residential and commercial customers. 
  • Accurately document completed work through work-order/service systems. 
  • Communicate professionally with customers while working on-site. 
Technical & Administrative
  • Maintain accurate records of parts, labor, repairs, and equipment performance. 
  • Maintain an organized service vehicle stocked with necessary tools and replacement parts. 
  • Coordinate scheduling, parts ordering, and follow-up service with the Operations team. 
  • Follow all safety procedures and job-site regulations. 
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional workmanship. 
Required Qualifications
  • Journeyman Electrician with 3–5+ years of electrical field experience. 
  • Strong understanding of 120/240V line voltage and low-voltage control wiring. 
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. 
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. 
  • Knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety standards. 
  • Clean, organized workmanship with strong attention to detail. 
  • Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation. 
  • OSHA certification preferred or ability to obtain certification. 
  • Ability to work on ladders, in mechanical rooms, and within finished residential and commercial spaces. 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with sauna, steam, or salt room equipment such as Harvia, MrSteam, Thermasol, or similar systems. 
  • Background in HVAC electrical, appliances, pool heaters, or specialty electrical equipment. 
  • Knowledge of NEC requirements related to wet and damp locations. 
  • Strong understanding of low-voltage systems and controls. 
Work Environment & Schedule
  • Full-time position based out of Hollywood, FL. 
  • Field service throughout Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties. 
  • Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement depending on arrangement. 
  • Occasional emergency or priority service calls.
