The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll lead the Internal Sales & Customer Service team and ensure customers receive outstanding service every day.
You will be responsible for:
  • Managing quote turnaround times and follow-up activity
  • Driving sales pipeline follow-up and customer responsiveness
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service and phone coverage
  • Coordinating workflow across a team of three, including remote staff
  • Monitoring performance, priorities and productivity
  • Providing daily reporting to the Managing Director
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
  • Supporting the team with customer enquiries and operational priorities
About You
You will ideally have: Experience leading a customer service, internal sales or sales support team|||Strong communication and organisational skills|||The ability to manage both office-based and remote team members|||A proactive, solutions-focused approach|||Confidence working in a fast-paced environment|||A hands-on leadership style and strong work ethic|||Experience within industrial distribution, wholesale, building products, manufacturing or trade-related industries will be highly regarded, however leadership capability, attitude and the ability to drive outcomes are what matter most.
