We're looking for a Business Systems Analyst who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and helping stakeholders get the most from the systems they rely on every day.

This role sits at the centre of the business, partnering with teams across Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, Health & Safety, Projects and Operations to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline workflows and deliver practical technology solutions that create real business value. 

You'll have the opportunity to influence business processes, support major technology initiatives and work across a diverse portfolio of systems and applications.

About the Role
As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll work closely with business leaders, system owners, vendors and technical teams to understand challenges, define requirements and deliver solutions that improve efficiency, user experience and business performance. 

This is a highly visible role suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, challenging the status quo and turning business needs into practical outcomes. 

What You'll Be Doing

• Partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements.
• Mapping current and future-state business processes.
• Supporting system enhancements, upgrades, integrations and new technology initiatives.
• Preparing business cases, functional specifications and process documentation.
• Coordinating testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation activities.
• Working with internal teams and external vendors to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Supporting reporting, data quality and business intelligence initiatives.
• Driving system adoption through training, communication and change management activities.
• Helping the business simplify processes, reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency. Supported by the business process improvement, project delivery, testing, reporting and change management responsibilities.

What We're Looking For You'll bring a combination of business analysis expertise, systems knowledge and stakeholder engagement capability.

Essential Experience

• Previous experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Applications Analyst or similar role.
• Strong requirements gathering, workshop facilitation and process mapping experience.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications and enterprise systems.
• Proven ability to work across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, integrations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative approach and genuine passion for improving how businesses operate. 

Highly Regarded Experience supporting any of the following areas will be viewed favourably:

• ERP and enterprise business systems (Pronto)
• Finance and procurement systems
• HR and payroll platforms
• HSE systems
• Project management and workflow solutions
• Reporting and analytics platforms
• Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Power BI
• SharePoint
• Power Platform

Exposure to mining, resources, engineering, manufacturing or other asset-intensive industries will also be highly regarded.
