Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor | County Limerick

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team. This is a permanent day-shift position, working from 6.00 am to 2.45 pm. Some flexibility may be required to work late shifts in the future, depending on operational requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or production supervisory experience who enjoys leading teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards and operational performance are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure production targets are achieved
• Maintain high-quality standards across all areas of production
• Ensure products are dispatched on time and in line with schedules
• Allocate labour effectively across production activities
• Provide coaching, support and on-the-job training to production staff
• Liaise closely with H&S, Maintenance and HR teams
• Ensure production teams have access to the materials and equipment required for smooth operations
• Promote and enforce all health and safety procedures on site
• Drive communication, engagement and continuous improvement initiatives across the shift team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar production supervisory role
• Previous experience within manufacturing, people management or process engineering
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
• Strong team-focused approach with excellent organisational skills
• Flexibility to work late shifts in the future if required
