About the Role
You will work closely with site stakeholders to capture maintenance activities and translate technical information into clear, practical documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and updating maintenance procedures and work instructions
- Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Work Instructions (SWIs)
- Engaging with engineers, planners, supervisors and maintainers to document best practice work methods
- Supporting shutdown, project and continuous improvement activities
- Ensuring documentation aligns with site standards and safety requirements
- Maintaining document control and version management processes
- Managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Previous experience as a Document Writer, Technical Writer, Maintenance Planner, Reliability Specialist or similar
- Experience within mining, heavy industry, manufacturing, oil and gas, rail or industrial maintenance environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- The ability to interpret technical information and produce clear, user-friendly documentation
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Trade qualification or maintenance background
- Fixed Plant maintenance experience
- Exposure to shutdowns, maintenance planning or reliability functions
- Experience with SAP, SharePoint or document management systems
