We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Forklift Driver to join a well-established building materials supplier based in Smithfield. If you’re confident operating a counterbalance forklift, enjoy physical work and take pride in getting the job done, this could be the role for you!

This is a varied, hands-on position combining forklift operation with general warehouse duties, including the manual handling of containers. We’re after someone who’s physically fit, safety-conscious and happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved in all aspects of warehouse operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move and position stock safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading trucks and ensuring materials are stored in the correct locations.
• Manually lifting, moving and positioning containers as part of daily warehouse operations.
• Picking, packing and assisting with stocktakes.
• Moving materials around the warehouse and keeping stock organised.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• A valid Australian forklift licence.
• Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
• Previous warehouse experience and confidence handling physical duties.
• Good physical fitness, with the ability to safely lift and handle loads of up to 25 kg.
• Comfortable with manual handling tasks, including containers.
• Your own required PPE.
• Full working rights in Australia as an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident.
• Availability to commence IMMEDIATELY

What’s on Offer?

• $35–$36 per hour + super.
• Weekly pay.
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm.
• An initial 6-month temporary assignment, with the possibility of going permanent.
