IT NCMAX Technical Specialist (NC804691)

Key Responsibilities

Technical Delivery & Readiness

  • Facilitate day?to?day technical execution across all modernization workstreams, including data conversion, Azure environment buildout, integrations, technical design, testing, and customer?facing components.
  • Identify technical risks, issues, and dependencies; develop mitigation plans and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure integrations, interfaces, and cloud environments are fully prepared for deployment.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Partner with the Modernization Vendor’s Technical Manager to validate readiness of all solution components.
  • Represent the State technical team in vendor technical meetings and confirm alignment with DIT/DOT technical standards.
  • Work closely with internal teams, field operations, and external partners to ensure technical alignment and timely issue resolution.

Governance & Documentation

  • Participate in program meetings to communicate technical decisions, risks, and status.
  • Ensure creation, approval, and storage of required technical documentation (designs, test plans, conversion plans, runbooks).
  • Support knowledge?transfer activities to ensure State teams can sustain the solution post?implementation.
