Pharmacy Area Manager
Location: Field-based – covering Munster & South Leinster

The Role

We are seeking an experienced pharmacy professional to support and develop a network of pharmacies across Munster and South Leinster.

This is a hands-on, field-based position focused on improving operational standards, strengthening team performance, and driving commercial results. You will work closely with pharmacy teams, store owners, and the Support Office to ensure each pharmacy operates efficiently and delivers excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pharmacies in improving both dispensary and front-of-shop performance
• Maintain high standards of compliance, operations, and profitability across multiple locations
• Guide ordering, stock control, claims management, and product categories
• Deliver practical training, mentoring, and coaching to pharmacy teams
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities and implement operational improvements

Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail pharmacy (Pharmacy Technician essential)
• Strong understanding of dispensary workflow and retail pharmacy operations
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
• Confident communicator who can influence and support teams across multiple sites
• Highly organised and comfortable managing a regional, field-based role
• Full clean driving licence required
