Material Handler

Our client is seeking a Material Handler that will be responsible for unloading inbound semi-trailers containing used washers and dryers, sorting units based on condition, and accurately recording product details within the company’s ERP system using provided tablets. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and a safe, organized, and professional warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Unload washers and dryers from inbound semi-trailers

  • Safely move appliances throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment

  • Stage materials in designated sorting and processing areas

  • Inspect and categorize appliances based on client-defined criteria (e.g., old, rusted, broken, good condition)

  • Apply sorting standards consistently and accurately

  • Accurately log appliance details and condition into the company’s ERP system using provided devices

  • Ensure all entries are complete and error-free

  • Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or system issues to the supervisor

Qualifications and Skills

  • Utilize forklift, pallet jack and dollies for transportation

  • Comfortable using computers, tablets and radios

  • Experience in ERP systems for tracking

Benefits/Compensation

  • Part Time 30 hours per week

  • 2nd shift-9a-3:30 (hours may vary, MUST be flexible)

  • $18/hr based on experience

  • Temp to hire position  

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

  • Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts
