V7 Recruitment are looking for an experienced Senior Security Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing electronic security business covering London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who is confident across CCTV, Access Control and integrated electronic security systems and is looking for a senior position with more responsibility, autonomy and progression.

You’ll manage your own area and client base across London, taking responsibility for the service, maintenance and technical performance of security systems across a variety of commercial sites.

The Role

• Service, maintenance and fault finding across electronic security systems
• Working predominantly with CCTV and Access Control systems
• Diagnosing and resolving complex technical faults
• Managing your own diary, workload and client sites
• Taking ownership of the technical performance of sites within your area
• Building strong relationships with clients and providing a high level of customer service
• Supporting system upgrades and lifecycle management
• Working across a mixture of large commercial and high-profile sites
• Keeping service records and technical documentation up to date
• Working alongside other Senior Service Engineers and the wider technical team
• Ongoing manufacturer and technical training

What We’re Looking For We’re looking for an experienced Security Engineer who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of their own workload.

Ideally, you will have:

• Strong experience within the electronic security industry
• Good technical knowledge of CCTV and Access Control
• Strong service, maintenance and fault-finding experience
• Experience with IP-based security systems
• A good understanding of electronics
• Strong IT and networking knowledge
• The ability to diagnose more complex technical issues
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
• Experience managing your own diary and workload
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Based in or within easy travelling distance of London
