Job Title: IT Technician (Temporary | Immediate Start)

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience troubleshooting Macs and Chromebooks
  • Ability to resolve mirroring issues to TV screens
  • Proficiency in laptop replacement and hardware troubleshooting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of network configurations
  • Familiarity with classroom AV equipment
  • Experience working in educational environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or higher
  • Prior experience in IT support or technical troubleshooting, especially in school settings

Other Requirements:

  • Must own a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel between schools in San Jose
  • No mileage reimbursement available; travel is limited to one school per day as determined by the supervisor
  • Start date: ASAP, next week
  • Work hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, approximately 30-40 hours per week
  • Duration: 4-8 weeks, with possibility for extension or conversion to permanent hire
