Clinical Lead Vocational Rehabilitation

This Wellington-based Clinical Lead position combines hands-on vocational rehabilitation with the opportunity to guide clinicians managing complex ACC cases. The focus is on clinical leadership, mentoring and quality not people management.

The opportunity

• Provide clinical leadership across Wellington sites
• Support clinicians with complex ACC vocational rehabilitation cases
• Mentor clinicians and strengthen clinical capability
• Help maintain consistent, high-quality clinical practice
• Contribute to service development and clinical improvement
• Maintain your own vocational rehabilitation caseload

This role would suit an experienced physiotherapist with strong ACC and vocational rehabilitation knowledge who enjoys sharing their expertise and supporting others.

What you’ll bring

• A recognised New Zealand physiotherapy qualification
• Current PBNZ registration and APC
• Strong ACC and vocational rehabilitation experience
• Sound clinical reasoning and confidence supporting other clinicians
• A collaborative and approachable leadership style
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work autonomously and across multiple sites
• A full New Zealand driver’s licence
