Senior Full Sack & GenAI Developer

Overview

Client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with deep hands-on experience in Generative AI and agentic AI. This individual will own the complete application lifecycle, from translating business requirements into scalable architectures and rapidly developing proofs of concept through deploying enterprise-grade applications to production.

The ideal candidate has a demonstrated history of building applications from scratch, making architecture and infrastructure decisions, and delivering production-ready solutions. This role requires advanced Python and React development, GCP expertise, agentic AI implementation experience, and active use of AI-assisted development tools.

Core Responsibilities

• Partner directly with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical designs, system architectures, and data-flow diagrams.
• Own enterprise application development from initial concept and proof of concept through production deployment.
• Build backend services, frontend interfaces, RESTful APIs, infrastructure-as-code solutions, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Design and optimize data-intensive applications that process large datasets with low latency and high reliability.
• Develop integrations with identity providers, internal APIs, shared services, and enterprise platforms.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools and agentic development frameworks to improve development speed, code quality, and consistency.
• Architect and build multi-agent systems with defined agent roles, tool integrations, orchestration patterns, and memory strategies.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, and production GenAI integrations.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines, container deployments, and environment-promotion workflows.
• Navigate enterprise production-readiness requirements, application standards, security reviews, and release governance.
• Submit and manage ServiceNow change records and coordinate production deployments across infrastructure, security, cloud, networking, and platform teams.
• Independently drive technical initiatives from concept through production.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

• 7 years of professional hands-on software development experience, including at least 5 years in a full stack capacity.
• Demonstrated experience building and shipping enterprise-grade applications from scratch rather than only maintaining existing applications.
• Advanced Python development experience using FastAPI and/or Flask.
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript development experience using React, Next.js, or comparable modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS or an equivalent utility-first CSS framework.
• Strong RESTful API design and enterprise integration experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing Generative AI capabilities in production applications.
• Experience with agentic AI, multi-agent orchestration, RAG, LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent memory strategies.
• Experience with Google ADK, LangGraph, CrewAI, or an equivalent agentic AI framework.
• Experience integrating applications with Vertex AI, OpenAI APIs, or similar GenAI platforms.
• Active use of Google Code Assist, Gemini Code Assist, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Hands-on GCP experience, including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Gemini, Google ADK, and APIGEE.
• Terraform infrastructure-as-code development experience.
• GitLab repository management, branching strategies, and GitLab CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Experience with containers, deployment automation, and environment-promotion workflows.
• Strong SQL skills across analytical and transactional databases.
• Experience designing data pipelines and optimizing caching, asynchronous processing, database queries, and application performance.
• Experience integrating Active Directory, RBAC, SSO, Okta, or other federated identity solutions.
• Experience managing ServiceNow change requests, service requests, approvals, and production-release coordination.
• Ability to operate independently within a large enterprise environment and coordinate across business, cloud, networking, DevOps, infrastructure, security, platform, and data teams.

Preferred Skills or Experience

• Experience working within a large financial institution or similarly regulated industry.
• Experience independently leading technical initiatives from business concept through production deployment.
