Summary: The main function of a Pharmacology Associate is to support drug development and research by conducting in vivo studies, laboratory experiments, analyzing pharmacological data, and assisting in the evaluation of drug efficacy. A typical In Vivo Pharmacology Associate works closely with scientists and cross-functional teams to advance therapeutic programs. Job Responsibilities: Set up and conduct in vivo experiments to assess drug activity and efficacy. Collect, analyze, and interpret data, prepare reagents and maintain lab equipment. Collaborate with research teams to support preclinical studies. Assist in the development of protocols and standard operating procedures. Present findings in team meetings and contribute to scientific publications. Stay current with advancements in pharmacology and related technologies
Skills: Strong understanding of pharmacological principles and in vivo laboratory techniques. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., GraphPad Prism, Excel, R) Attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Experience with animal handling and dosing techniques. Understanding of rodent models of CV and metabolic disease is a plus. Education/Experience: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Pharmacology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field 0-2 years of experience in a research or pharmaceutical laboratory setting
