Pace Digital are working exclusively with a leading infrastructure consultancy to appoint a Data Analyst to join their utilities-focused data and analytics team in London. You will be working across a portfolio of utilities infrastructure programmes covering water, energy, and regulated asset environments collecting, processing, and analysing programme data to produce clear, accurate, and insightful outputs that support effective decision-making at programme level.
• Collecting, processing, and analysing datasets from multiple sources across utilities infrastructure programmes
• Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting products to communicate performance data to stakeholders
• Supporting cost, programme, and performance reporting in line with project controls frameworks
• Identifying trends, anomalies, and insights within programme data to support proactive decision-making
• Collaborating with project controls, PMO, and delivery teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable outputs
• Ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all reporting tools and platforms
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of data processes, governance frameworks, and BI tools
• Building strong working relationships with internal and client-side stakeholders across a multi-programme environment
• Producing clear and concise written reports and presentations for internal and external audiences
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FO
Essential
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst — ideally within a utilities, water, energy, or infrastructure environment
• Strong Power BI skills including dashboard development, DAX, and Power Query
• Solid analytical capability with experience handling complex datasets and translating them into clear insights
• Good understanding of project controls reporting concepts — cost, programme, risk, and performance
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• A detail-oriented, proactive approach with a genuine curiosity for data
• Degree in a relevant numerate discipline or equivalent industry experience
Desirable
• Experience working in a utilities, water, or energy programme environment
• Familiarity with programme controls tools such as Primavera P6 or similar
• SQL or Python experience
• Experience within a consultancy or PMO environment
• Knowledge of WBS, CBS, and OBS structures and how they underpin programme reporting
