Gardener/Grounds Maintenance

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Grounds Maintenance / Handy Person to join our team in Darwin. This is a hands-on outdoor role involving general grounds, gardening, maintenance and site clean-up duties.
We are looking for someone who is physically fit, reliable and takes pride in keeping sites clean, safe and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• General grounds and garden maintenance.
• Lawn mowing and whipper snipping.
• Weed spraying and general garden upkeep.
• Litter collection and rubbish removal.
• General site clean-up.
• Basic handyman and maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining tools and equipment.
• Following site and safety requirements.

Skills & Experience

• Previous grounds maintenance, gardening or handyman experience is highly regarded.
• Good physical fitness and ability to complete manual outdoor work.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety.

Requirements:

• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Current National Police Check or ability to obtain.
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Ability to apply for and obtain a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test if required.
