We are partnering a privately-owned Australian business looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner/Management Accountant.
Reporting to CFO, you'll take ownership of financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis while partnering with operational leaders to provide meaningful commercial insights.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage month-end close process, monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Assist with annual budgets, rolling forecasts and financial modelling
  • Support cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities
  • Maintain strong financial controls and compliance processes with support from external accountants
  • Drive reporting improvements and identify process efficiencies
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to support decision-making
  • Directly manage the performance of an Accountant
About You
  • CA/CPA qualified or close to completion, and experience in a Financial/Management/Commercial Accountant role
  • Strong Excel and proficiency with AI-enabled finance tools is preferrable
  • You are someone who enjoys building connections with non-finance teams and understanding what makes a business tick
  • Comfortable operating in a high-growth business environment and adaptable to changing priorities
