GROUNDWORKER – SITTINGBOURNE, KENT

Barker Ross Recruitment is currently hiring experienced Groundworkers for long-term work on a construction project in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10
Rate: £20.00 per hour
Duration: Long-term work

Job Description:
We are looking for reliable and experienced Groundworkers to join a busy construction project. The successful candidates will have strong groundworks experience and be comfortable working as part of a team on a construction site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out general groundworks duties on site

  • Excavation and preparation of ground

  • Assisting with drainage, foundations and other groundworks activities

  • Working safely around machinery and other site operatives

  • Following site instructions and health and safety procedures

  • Keeping the work area clean and safe

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years’ groundworks experience

  • Valid CSCS card

  • Full PPE

  • Good understanding of construction site health and safety

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Able to provide a valid work reference
