Are you an experienced Customer Service professional with strong SAP skills and a background in manufacturing or supply chain environments?
A leading Australian manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Customer Service Officer for an immediate 3-month contract based in Minto. Joining a supportive and collaborative team, you'll play a key role supporting customers, processing orders, resolving enquiries, and working closely with Sales, Planning, Manufacturing and Logistics teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, enjoys working autonomously, and is looking for a fast-paced role within a well-established business.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you'll be responsible for managing customer enquiries and supporting the end-to-end order process while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing customer orders, amendments, pricing enquiries and order tracking
- Processing and maintaining customer information within SAP
- Liaising with Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics and Sales teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Managing customer enquiries via phone, email and web-based channels
- Investigating and resolving order, pricing and delivery discrepancies
- Processing credits, returns and customer service requests
- Supporting the Sales Team with administrative activities, reporting and customer information
- Maintaining accurate records through customer service and ticketing systems
- Building strong relationships with long-standing customers and internal stakeholders
- Working collaboratively with both local and offshore customer service teams
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 3-5 years' experience in a Customer Service, Internal Sales or Order Management role
- Previous experience using SAP in a customer-facing environment
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, retail, supply chain or industrial environments highly regarded
- Exposure to Dynamics, ticketing systems or CRM platforms
- Strong order processing and pricing administration experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Confidence working across multiple internal departments
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- A reliable and committed approach with a strong work ethic
