Sustainability & Climate Consultant

Introduction

A leading global provider of investment data, research, and analytics is seeking a Sustainability & Climate Consultant to support institutional clients across Japan. This is an excellent opportunity to combine ESG and climate expertise with client relationship management in a highly international environment.

About the Role

As a trusted advisor, you will help institutional investors integrate sustainability and climate insights into their investment processes. Working closely with clients, sales, research, and global teams, you will support the full client lifecycle, from implementation and training to ongoing strategic engagement.

Responsibilities

• Advise institutional clients on sustainability and climate solutions.
• Build strong client relationships and drive client retention and growth.
• Partner with the sales team on pre-sales activities and solution consulting.
• Deliver client training, workshops, and strategic reviews.
• Collaborate with global teams to resolve client issues and improve service delivery.
• Share market insights and client feedback with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of client-facing experience in financial services, ESG, sustainability, or investment-related fields.
• Good understanding of ESG, climate investing, and capital markets.
• Strong relationship management, communication, and project management skills.
• Business-level Japanese and English.
• MBA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
