Apply direct About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day operations at a growing manufacturing facility that fabricates and assembles custom electrical equipment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, facility systems, and fabrication machinery to minimize downtime and keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and fabrication equipment (e.g., metal forming, cutting, and assembly machinery)
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals
- Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and coordinate with engineering on more complex control issues
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and parts inventory
- Support facility upkeep, including lighting, HVAC, and general building systems
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications:
- 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, and control components
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Forklift experience a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred
