Job Overview:
The Procure-to-Pay Manager leads the operational backbone of a global, digital and AI-enabled procurement organization. As Ingersoll Rand continues to scale and standardize procurement operations across regions, this role owns the buying experience from requisition through purchase order and clean handoff into the ERP – ensuring transactions are fast, compliant, low-touch, and accurate before they reach downstream finance processes. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys running an operation well while continuously re-engineering how it works
Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations from requisition through purchase order issuance, ensuring clean and complete ERP integration.
- Manage buying channel strategy and enablement, including guided buying, hosted and punchout catalogs, and channel compliance.
- Lead supplier onboarding and transactional enablement while maintaining accurate supplier master data.
- Administer and configure P2P systems and workflows across platforms such as Coupa, Jaggaer, and SAP Ariba, including release and upgrade readiness.
- Define and maintain P2P standard operating procedures, user training, and business-wide support models.
- Monitor and report key operational KPIs, including cycle time, touchless order rate, catalog coverage, PO accuracy, and ERP integration success.
- Partner with IT, Finance Systems, and Category teams to drive automation, process simplification, and AI-enabled workflow improvements.
- Support the expansion and standardization of P2P processes across additional regions and business units.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement Operations, Procure-to-Pay, eProcurement systems, Supply Chain, or Shared Services Hands-on experience configuring, administering, or supporting an enterprise eProcurement or P2P platform
- Bachelor's degree required
Core Competencies:
- Operational rigor and process discipline paired with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Change management and user adoption expertise. Data-driven decision making and structured problem solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across time zones and business units
Preferences:
- Experience working in global, matrixed, or shared services environments
- Exposure to multi-ERP landscapes and system integration between procurement and finance platforms. Background in catalog enablement, supplier enablement, or transactional procurement transformation.
- Familiarity with the full Source-to-Pay lifecycle and where P2P connects to sourcing and contracting
- Process improvement certification or training (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent
- Experience introducing automation or AI-assisted workflows into transactional processes
- Comfort operating both strategically and in the detail of day-to-day execution
Pay Range: The pay range for this role is $90,000-$120,000 excluding incentive opportunities. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
