The end client is a large enterprise operating complex Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms that support critical business processes. This role is focused on managed application support, platform optimisation, and operational excellence, with ongoing enhancements driven by real business demand rather than pure transformation.
About the Role
The Senior Test Manager will provide strategical leadership of end-to-end test delivery programs, ensuring high-quality outcomes, strong data integrity, and delivery certainty across complex, data-driven platforms.
This role is expected to quickly embed into the program, take ownership of integration testing (IAT), data validation, migration and reconciliation, and drive execution discipline and efficiency improvements from day one.

About the Role
The Senior Test Manager will provide strategical leadership of end-to-end test delivery programs, ensuring high-quality outcomes, strong data integrity, and delivery certainty across complex, data-driven platforms.
This role is expected to quickly embed into the program, take ownership of integration testing (IAT), data validation, migration and reconciliation, and drive execution discipline and efficiency improvements from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Test Delivery Ownership (Immediate Impact)
- Take end-to-end ownership of testing delivery across assigned streams
- Drive execution across IAT cycles, release milestones, and migration events
- Ensure clear tracking, prioritisation, and timely resolution of defects and risks
- Stabilise delivery and maintain predictable testing outcomes under tight timelines
- Build and streamline strategies
Data Migration & ETL Validation
- Lead validation of data migration flows, ETL pipelines, and transformation logic
- Ensure accuracy of: Source-to-target mappings
- Data transformations and aggregations
- Downstream reporting outputs
- Perform deep validation of financial/regulatory data sets (ECL, RWA, reporting feeds)
Automation & Efficiency Enablement
- Accelerate adoption of:
- Automated reconciliation frameworks
- Regression automation for large data sets
- Batch execution and run validation automation
- Contribute to reducing manual validation effort and improving IAT cycle efficiency
- Identify quick wins to reduce cycle time and remove execution bottlenecks
Environment & Test Data Readiness
- Ensure test environments are: Stable, available, and fit-for-purpose
- Coordinate availability of: Production-like datasets (masked / subset / synthetic where required)
- Proactively manage environment and data dependencies impacting delivery timelines
Cross-Team Coordination & Delivery Execution
- Act as a central coordination point across multiple teams and workstreams
- Manage dependencies across: Data engineering teams
- Upstream data providers
- Downstream consumers (Finance, Risk, Reporting)
- Simplify execution by: Establishing clear ownership
- Driving focused, outcome-based discussions
- Reducing unnecessary coordination overhead
- Enforce test governance, entry/exit criteria, and quality checkpoints
- Provide clear, concise reporting on: Test progress
- Risks and impacts
- Release readiness status
- Drive defect triage, root cause analysis, and prioritised resolution
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in managing large programs
- Strong expertise in stakeholder management
- Proven ability to manage IAT or large-scale integration testing cycles
- Experience working in complex, multi-team, enterprise environments
- Driver of Automation
Highly Desirable
- Experience in financial services / risk / regulatory data platforms (ECL, RWA)
- Exposure to: Python-based automation frameworks
- Cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake)
- Strong understanding of AI automation-led testing and efficiency optimisation
Key Success Measures
- Rapid ramp-up and ownership within first few weeks
- Stabilisation of IAT execution and delivery timelines
- Improved data validation turnaround and reconciliation efficiency
- Reduction in manual effort and coordination overhead
- Clear, credible assessment of release readiness and risk
