Reporting into the finance leadership team, you'll provide commercial analysis that supports profitable growth. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll partner closely with sales, operations and senior management.

With a commercially focused leadership team, the business is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to play a key role in its commercial decision-making.
About the role
Reporting into the finance leadership team, you'll provide commercial analysis that supports profitable growth. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll partner closely with sales, operations and senior management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, maintaining and reviewing pricing across the business's products and services
- Preparing financial models and pricing recommendations for management
- Supporting tenders and proposals with commercial analysis
- Analysing customer, product and revenue performance to identify opportunities for improvement
- Producing regular commercial and performance reporting with insightful commentary
- Monitoring market and competitor trends to inform commercial decisions
- Partnering with sales and operational teams to provide commercial insight and decision support
- CPA, CA or CFA qualified (or well progressed) – highly regarded
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline
- Solid experience in commercial finance, pricing or business analysis
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Strong analytical ability, with a talent for turning data into clear commercial action
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- A commercially minded approach and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
