Job Description:
As Senior Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the organisation through high‑quality management accounting, insightful analysis, and strong business partnering.
Reporting to the Business Performance Manager, this role works closely with leaders across the business to provide both strategic and day‑to‑day financial advice. You’ll help drive informed decision‑making, support planning and performance management, and contribute to the delivery of Summerset’s financial and strategic objectives.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing management accounting services and consolidated business reporting across the organisation
- Supporting and coordinating budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, including analytical review and consolidation
- Monitoring and analysing financial and operational performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and trends
- Preparing and reviewing month‑end results, management reports, and variance analysis
- Delivering complex financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions
- Contributing to medium and long‑term business planning and strategic projects
- Challenging assumptions, reviewing cost drivers, and recommending commercially viable alternatives
- Supporting continuous improvement across financial tools, systems, and processes
- Assisting with month‑end processes and ad‑hoc projects as required
- Mentoring and providing guidance to other management accountants when needed

Qualifications:
About you
You’re a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with the business and adding value beyond the numbers. You’re analytical, proactive, and confident working with stakeholders across a range of functions and leadership levels.
You'll bring:
- CA, CPA, CIMA (or equivalent) qualification
- A minimum of 3 years’ post‑qualification experience
- Strong management accounting and financial analysis capability
- Advanced Excel skills, with SQL experience advantageous
- Experience with dashboarding and performance scorecards
- Proven influencing and business partnering skills
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage financial and non‑financial stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and critical thinking ability
- A self‑driven, results‑oriented approach
