Apply directBarker Ross are currently recruiting on behalf of a client in Biggleswade who are looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys a varied working day and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
The Role
Working within their pallet network, you'll be driving a curtain-sided vehicle and completing a mix of residential and business deliveries.
Your typical day will include:
- 5–10 multi-drop deliveries each day.
- Morning deliveries, with most deliveries completed by lunchtime.
- Afternoon collections from a variety of customer locations.
- Loading, securing and checking freight.
- Completing all paperwork and electronic PODs accurately.
- Providing a professional and courteous service to our customers.
- Electric pump truck for pallets.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- A good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations.
- Previous multi-drop or pallet network experience is preferred but not essential.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your daily route efficiently.

Hours: Full time / Days
Pay rate: £18.00 per hour PAYE
