Executive Manager, Governance, Risk, Assurance, Compliance and Evaluation ( GRACE)

We are partnering exclusively with a purpose-led organisation within the disability, aged care and human services sector to appoint an experienced Executive Manager, Governance, Risk, Assurance, Compliance & Evaluation (GRACE).
This is a highly influential executive role, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Team and Board / Audit & Risk Committee.
 
The opportunity
This role will lead the organisation’s approach to:

• Governance and organisational integrity
  • Enterprise risk management
  • Internal audit and assurance
  • Regulatory compliance across aged care and disability services
  • Incident, complaints and serious incident response
  • Policy, systems, and continuous improvement
  • Building a strong risk, safety and compliance culture

You’ll play a critical role in bringing together two complex regulatory environments and creating a coherent, practical governance, risk and compliance framework that supports both operational excellence and quality outcomes.
 
What we're looking for
We’re looking for a senior leader who brings:
✔ Significant experience across governance, risk, audit or compliance
✔ Strong knowledge of the aged care and/or NDIS regulatory environment, or another highly regulated human services environment
✔ Experience designing and embedding enterprise risk and assurance frameworks
✔ The ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business solutions
✔ Strong Board, CEO and Executive stakeholder experience
✔ Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
✔ The confidence to challenge, influence and provide trusted advice at an executive level
Formal qualifications in law, business, risk, audit, health, social care or a related discipline are desirable, with governance, risk or audit credentials highly regarded.
